This world-leading pet care provider has more than 33,000 associates in 199 locations around the world. With influential managers positioned all around the world it is important for them to come together to communicate messages.

Taking place at the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, Mars arranged a three day global summit for 160 of its delegates. The Ritz-Carlton specialises in offering luxurious meeting rooms and provided memorable facilities in picturesque surroundings.

Toolshed Communications were contracted to manage the project, design and visualisation of the conference.

We manufactured and built the main conference hall set and stage. Life-size cut out acrylic prints of animals were also positioned throughout the area – running with the theme of the event.

It was important to make use of the generous space available in the hotel. To achieve this, six separately themed experiential break-out rooms were designed for the delegates in between presentations. One included an eerie graveyard scene that was blacked out with delegates only to be guided by UV lighting and smoke machines.

The range of expertise shown by Toolshed and the success of the event proved our capabilities in organising a major event for a well-respected, international client. For us we’re glad that the theme wasn’t taken a step too far with pet food presented to delegates for meal times. In fact, it was the best food that we have ever enjoyed at a conference, hands down.
